Having always wanted to teach, I obtained my BA and MA in elementary education at the University of Florida and sought my first job as a third grade teacher. While I loved teaching, I disliked the bureaucracy of the public school system and the focus on standardized tests. I took a break from the classroom and spent five years at home with my little ones. I returned to teaching this year as a language arts teacher at a small private school.

Stop by my personal website or drop me an email. I'd love to hear from you! Also check out my online children's bookstore at www.usbornemommy.com.
